Turtle Tales
Sea turtles are one of many endangered animals which could be used for this project.
A completely new and pioneering approach to nurturing the environment – the program involves art and literature with children. Classrooms of children will collaborate to write short stories about a given endangered animal. The stories would be illustrated by the classes with the guidance of art mentors. The story book would be published by a United Nations agency or an environmental organization with the sale proceeds going to defined endangered animal support programs.
