EcoArt Challenge
Environmental education and art project for the United Arab Emirates secondary school system.
ARTWORKS designed and implemented this project which included 9th grade students throughout the United Arab Emirates. Working with ARTWORKS mentors, students produced major public art installations made from "found" and recyclable objects and materials. The program had strong art and environmental education elements as well as major public displays and recognition for all participants. The project was sponsored by HSBC, one of the world's largest banks, and supported by the UAE Ministry of Education.
