Bastakiya, Dubai's Heritage District

Project focusing on building restorations, festivals, art events.

ARTWORKS contributed pro bono consulting services to Dubai Municipality as part of their strategy to protect the Bastakiya district's heritage elements while transforming the area into a tourist destination. Major building restorations, an annual art festival and the development of art gallery and art district services and facilities were part of the results of this long term project.
